POSITION SUMMARY
Capable of assembling power units, skids or sub-assemblies from a variety of materials and processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Operate various tools such as saws, benders, and drill press.
· Use overhead crane, hoist or forklifts to assemble components.
· Capable of drilling and taping holes to common industry standards.
· Read and follow drawings, prints and component installation instructions.
· Run and terminate simple electrical wiring per drawings or schematics.
· Capable of fabricating small brackets and assemblies requiring minimal welding.
· Rout and install hydraulic hose, tubing and fittings from schematics.
· Assemble hydraulic components such as pumps, valves, filters and heat exchangers.
· Complies with company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
· Maintains neat and clean work area.
· Responsible for the quality of parts produced.
· Responsible for completing tasks in a timely fashion.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS – SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Experience should demonstrate proficiencies in the following areas:
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
· Ability to pay attention to details.
· Accept responsibility for his/her actions.
· Ability to properly convey ideas or concepts.
· Accept constructive criticism without becoming defensive.
Education: High School Graduate or Vocational School
Experience: Three years related experience
Skills taught after hire as needed:
Welding Process Training, Safety Training, ISO Orientation Training
Certificates & Licenses:
AWSD1.1 Certified using Hydraulics' Welder qualifications as a minimum requirement
