POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for mobile control system design, system analysis, and component selection for new and existing projects and customers.  Design and recommend mobile electronic controls, troubleshoot customers problems, and recommend solutions. Responsible for developing and maintaining accounts and working with sales team for training and joint calls.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

-          Identify new customer opportunities and increase market share for the electromechanical product line.

-          Understand products and present solutions independently.

-          Document activities in CRM and complete monthly reports as required by management.

-          Forecast monthly and annual business plan showing projected sales and quotas.

-          Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge through attendance at regularly scheduled internal and external training classes

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS – SKILLS AND ABILITIES

-          4-year Engineering degree (BSEE, BSME preferred) or equivalent

-          Minimum 2 years technical application experience

-          Minimum 3 years sales experience in automation or related discipline at OEM or End User accounts

-          Product knowledge/application experience in mobile control systems, methods, protocols, and hardware.

-          Engineering knowledge in mobile systems and control, including electro-hydraulic operation, and canbus / drive by wire applications.

-          Additional product knowledge/application experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and instrumentation a plus, but not required

-          Ability to identify scenarios and excel at both solution and component sales, depending on the situation

-          Solid written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and proposal writing

-          Organizational skills to manage schedule

-          Computer proficiency – strong knowledge of MS Office Suite

-          Proficiency in presentation skills and comfortable giving presentations to senior management personnel

-          Knowledge of Parker Hannifin mobile controls hardware for controls and electrification.
