Description

This position is responsible for promoting, training and growing field service technicians in the designated regions to be able to service, troubleshoot, install, inspect and repair AFEX systems.  It also sells and supports service and repair revenue growth for the regions.

  • Meets with customers to demonstrate and explain features and benefits of AFEX products and services. Develops and presents information to promote the acceptance of products and/or services at customer locations.
  • Performs monthly inspections on systems generated through AFEX team.
  • Acts as the subject matter expert for service and repair, inspection and installation sales and technical support for the regions.
  • Recruits, trains and mentors' technical shop and service employees to be able to service AFEX systems and grow the company's technical expertise in the product line.
  • Instructs customers and employees on use of products.
  • Performs and oversees service, delivery or installation of products and services related to AFEX systems.
  • Troubleshoot AFEX systems and components in-house or on-site.
  • Supervise service and repair people on all AFEX projects.

Requirements

  • Must have High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree preferred.
  • AFEX Trainer certifications required.
  • A minimum of 5 years' industry experience in troubleshooting, service and repair of fire suppression equipment and systems is preferred.
  • Ability to train and mentor all levels of employees and customers.
  • Technical sales and project management skills.
  • Valid Driver's License, Good Driving Record
