Position Summary

This position is responsible for promoting, training and growing field service technicians in the designated region. It also sells and supports service and repair revenue growth for the region.

Essential Functions

  • Meets with customers to demonstrate and explain features and benefits of products and services. Develops and presents information to promote the acceptance of products and/or services at customer locations.
  • Identifies and reviews customer needs and specifications in order to determine a minimum bill of material and competitive price levels. Answers questions about products, prices, and quality.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for service and repair sales and technical support for the region.
  • Recruits, trains and mentor technical shop and service employees in support of the branch needs and to grow the company's technical expertise.
  • Instruct customers and employees on use of products.
  • Performs and oversees service, delivery or installation of products and services.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic systems and components.
  • Supervise service and repair people and projects.

Position Qualifications – Skills and Abilities

Experience should demonstrate proficiencies in the following areas:

  • Ability to actively attend to, convey, and understand the comments and questions of others.
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and follow-up skills.

  • Technical sales and project management skills.

Education: 

  • High school diploma required.
  • Trade school trained and hydraulic certifications preferred.

Experience: 

  • 5+ years of fluid power industry experience in troubleshooting, service and repair of hydraulic equipment and systems / or equivalent experience.

Certificates & Licenses:

  • CFPS preferred
