POSITION SUMMARY
Make deliveries and picks up a wide variety of items and repair work to customer sites promptly and efficiently each day/week. Represent company in a professional manner aiming at increasing customer satisfaction. Hydraulic hose and fitting experience preferred.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Drives company vehicle to deliver and pick up items from customer's place of business.
Obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
· Reviews sales and current market information to determine potential sales to current
customers and leads in the territory.
· Load and unload items from vehicle.
· Keep customer shelves stocked with product on site.
· Count inventory at each site and report discrepancies.
· Load and unload boxes into/out of customer bins.
· Maintain site in a neat, clean, and orderly manner at all times.
· Complete route logs and reports daily by following routes and time schedule.
· Performs routine maintenance checks on truck and keeps inside and outside clean at all
times.
· Develops relationship with and provides excellent customer service to customers
· May inform customers about new products or services.
· Assemble/crimp hoses, utilizes calibrated measurement tools to inspect the hose assemblies.
· Assist in warehouse and other areas as directed by manager.
· Adherent to standard operating procedures including quality, safety and environmental.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS – SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Be able to demonstrate proficiencies in the following areas:
· Excellent Customer Service skills
· Time management and organizational skills
· Good driving record with no traffic violations in last 36 months
· Knowledge of lifting devices.
· Ability to follow written and oral procedures.
· Ability to take care of the customers' needs while following company procedures.
· Ability to speak effectively before customers.
· Ability to work 8-10 hour shifts Monday through Friday
· Work within established safety and quality standards.
Education and or Experience: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills taught after hire as needed:
ISO Training, Safety Training, Product Training, Maintenance, P21, GoGPS and Forklift operation
Certificates & Licenses:
Valid driver's license and clean MVR
