Job Description:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

Work Experiences:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a QA/UAT Tester or in a related field.

Skills:

  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies and processes.
  • Proficient in using test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM Quality Center, Zephyr).
  • Capable of creating and executing test cases throughout the testing cycle.
  • Collaborates effectively with development teams to identify and resolve issues and participates in product release testing.
  • Demonstrates functional knowledge of assigned applications and business units.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and projects, offering prioritization recommendations to management.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the full QA lifecycle, including unit testing, functional testing, SIT, E2E, UAT, and regression testing.
  • Proficient in solving complex problems with guidance from management.
  • Strong understanding of the differences between agile and waterfall delivery models.
  • Working knowledge of databases and SQL.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in daily scrums and grooming sessions for assigned projects.
  • Serve as the UAT test lead for customer-facing projects with minimal supervision.
  • Lead the development of all testing scenarios based on epics, user stories, and BRDs.
  • Oversee UAT testing efforts for product features, enhancements, and projects to ensure overall quality, and manage the workflow from intake to release, including the disposition of any defects.
  • Provide daily updates on defects, roadblocks, and other impediments to the product team and scrum master.
  • Actively participate in grooming sessions to clarify requirements.
  • Coordinate with support, customer care, treasury, and other business partners to ensure thorough end-to-end (E2E) validation of projects.
  • Engage in deployment cycles for assigned projects and sprints.
  • Be flexible to work early morning hours during production release deployments.
  • Manage escalations impacting the release or product launch, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Academy's policies, procedures, and safety rules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, as responsibilities may evolve.
