Job Description:

Education:

  • Associate's degree in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required

Work Experiences:

  • 2+ years of related work experience required

Skills:

  • Working knowledge of the JDA Category Management Suite
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
  • Exceptional analytical and problems solving skills
  • Strong Presentation skills - must excel at communicating complex information in simple to understand yet actionable ways
  • Strong interpersonal, written, verbal communication with the ability to interface effectively with individuals at various levels within the organization
  • Project Management - establishing key milestones & focusing on deliverables, following up with key stakeholders and delivering on time/on budget
  • Strong attention to detail and sound problem solving skills for technical and business issues
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a large volume of work across multiple projects in a fast paced frequently changing environment
  • Ability to produce high quality work that is very detailed, accurate and completed on schedule
  • Responds positively to change, by embracing and adopting new direction and process changes required to accomplish goals and solve problems

Responsibilities:

  • Direct all aspects of visual merchandising execution, including planogram creation, fixture-graphic fulfillment, and reset coordination
  • Assign and merchandise planograms that align with the macro and micro space plan in existing stores and in support of special projects using JDA Floor Planning
  • Responsible for setting planograms in a live store or model store to review the accuracy of the planogram and to identify areas of opportunity before the live date
  • Partners on the implementation of new innovative fixture initiatives and serve as the visual merchandising strategy expert
  • Provides store support regarding planograms and/or merchandising plans. Acts with a strong sense of urgency to anticipate customer needs. Takes responsibility for finding lasting solutions to difficult problems
  • Take ownership of special projects and initiatives and report back to team on new developments, strategies, and/ or roll-out plans.
  • Partner with the Merchants to create customer centric planograms utilizing the JDA Category Management Suite to drive sales and profitability
  • Serve as an integral member of the Category Merchandising Team (CMT) in driving sales, gross margin, turn and merchandise presentation.
  • Work directly with stores and address store level challenges and establish strong relationships with key customer within their store operations and planogram groups
  • Apply data points to reconcile assortment to space variations across clustered volume grades and provide post-mortem analysis to cross functional teams
  • Duties may change; team member may be required to perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements & Attendance

  • Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
  • Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures and rules governing professional staff behavior
  • Regular attendance required
  • Ability to work flexible hours such as evening, weekends, and holidays as necessary
  • Up to 5% travel, overnight stays as required
