Job Description:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required.
  • FPC/CPP Preferred

Work Experiences:

  • 3+ years of experience using advanced Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools required.
  • 2+ years of advanced UKG Pro Workforce (Dimensions/Workforce Central))/Workday experience strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years of payroll processing or payroll systems experience preferred.

Skills:

  • Advanced Excel; strong math and analytical aptitude
  • Reporting Experience in an HR/Payroll environment
  • Proficiency with use of Microsoft Office suite of programs: Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to remain organized, work autonomously, execute flawlessly, pay strict attention to detail, and meet critical deadlines.
  • within a dynamic high volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Results-focused with superb attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the pay period close within the timekeeping system to include auditing various timekeeping transactions throughout the pay period, performing any necessary data clean up, and ensuring the balancing of hours between systems.
  • Research and resolve internal and external customer inquiries, communicating results in a timely manner while preserving confidentiality.
  • Creates ad hoc reports as needed and manages the periodic reporting for internal and external customers.
  • Monitors integrations, researches and resolves any errors or failures.
  • Complete requests for payroll and time records related to subpoenas, internal investigations, and governmental/agency requests.
  • Support system setup within timekeeping and payroll systems.
  • Participates in ad-hoc projects and assists in testing system enhancements and patches in the timekeeping and payroll systems.
  • Evaluates current systems and processes; recommends, develops, and documents operating efficiency improvements to maintain compliance and adopt best practices.
  • Ensures proper documentation of and adherence to payroll business processes.
  • Provide basic training to employees and managers on the payroll and timekeeping systems.
  • Utilize discretion and judgment to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
  • Learns and follows company work hours, policies, procedures, and rules governing professional staff behavior.
  • Duties may change and team member may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
