The Services Supervisor serves as a key member of a collaborative team by coordinating the scheduled activities of assigned staff to ensure client health, safety, and dignity needs are met. Also properly supervise assigned staff to ensure the development of a professional and cohesive team

Services Supervisor Responsibilities: 

  • Provide full-cycle supervision for direct reports, including hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, counseling, performance feedback, and performance evaluations
  • Develop staff schedules that meet all client care and safety needs
  • Ensure that staff are fully trained and tested in accordance with all regulatory requirements
  • Assist in training clients on exercises, stretches, or therapy to increase mobility and flexibility, manage pain, prevent injury, and facilitate their therapy program. Monitor levels of assistance and assist in updating documentation
  • As a member of the interdisciplinary team, contribute to and carry out a treatment plan
  • Participate in treatment planning and conferences, as required
  • Monitor inventory of supplies and equipment, and order and purchase materials as needed.
  • Ensure that policies are followed by staff through training, mentoring, and monitoring of staff performance and interactions with clients
  • Respond to staff issues promptly by collaborating with appropriate personnel, providing guidance, and following up to ensure concerns are addressed appropriately
  • Address client concerns/issues, submit appropriate reports or other documentation

Services Supervisor Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a specialization in Kinesiology, or a related field, from a four-year accredited program
  • A minimum of one year of experience working with adults with disabilities or acquired brain injury
  • Ability to successfully lead, inspire, mentor, manage, and develop unlicensed staff. Successful delegation and collaboration skills. Minimum of one year of successful experience supervising staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to build and maintain positive and effective working relationships with staff and clients
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite products and applications
