About the Role:
As the Commercial Product Line Associate you will explore new ways of delivering value to Commercial Supply Chain and Operations business customers supporting their business strategies, transformation and modernization initiatives focusing on next generation of business processes and technical solutions. You will work in partnership and will be the connection between Commercial Demand and Operations Supply areas on enhancing, transforming, and implementing solutions; bridging the gap between business strategy and rite sized technology solutions which fit in a complex technology ecosystem.

You will support the transformation and modernization of Alcoa's Enterprise application portfolio and ecosystems through simplification, standardization, digitalization and assists with improving the integration, automation, and data strategies, following company's standards, governance structure and targeting commonality of business solutions.


Other key responsibilities include:

  • Work with ITAS product line leader and internal business customers in both commercial supply chain and operations production planners to ensure their needs are fulfilled to optimize business performance;
  • Ability to be customer facing with business customers, provides services to supply chain and business areas, comprehends current condition, business needs, strategies, plans and contributes to recommendations that are cost effective for existing processes and systems;
  • Use comprehensive knowledge of supply chain planning to navigate through data and technology challenges;
  • Brings together forecasts, actuals, understands real world supply chain constraints;
  • Facilitates development, solution design, implementation and deployment for new (digital) initiatives;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external service providers to ensure that business requirements and priorities are being addressed;
  • Manage and tracks the progress of project deliverables, monitoring progress against schedules, managing the budget, team effort estimations and addressing issues, and ensuring on-time completion and delivery, operational stability and support.

What you can bring to the role:

  • Technical degree; BA or Computer Science and/or Supply Chain background desired;
  • Solid experience in systems implementation & support experience on complex, large scale applications;
  • Desirable experience with Oracle R12 Advanced Supply Chain Planning, (VCP), Process Manufacturing Execution, Product Development, Order Management, Shipping Execution;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Power BI;
  • Background of cloud solutions e.g.: Adaptive Insights, Cargo Value, Vesson iMos;
  • Working experience on Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, Power Apps and Databricks;
  • Must be fluent in local language and possess a proficient level of English, French is a plus.
