About the Role:
The People Solutions Manager is a key leadership role that leads the frontline HR function to deliver upon our strategic pillar of service excellence through the provision of strategic and operational HR advice and services that drive performance outcomes of our plants in Brazil. We are seeking a Senior Manager of HR Operations and Services who can collaborate and partner cross-functionally to ensure service delivery that optimizes business results and contributes to a rich employee experience. This role is responsible for the development, execution and operation of an HR - People Solutions aligned to the global strategy, supporting the end-to-end life cycle of an employee at Alcoa. This role will drive initiatives to enhance HR effectiveness, transform HR services, harmonize and standardize delivery, improve processes, automate and digitalize the services, ensure best-in-class customer experience, and cost effective.
The role leads the People Solutions function for Brazil and reports to the Global People Solutions Director for Alcoa Corporation.
Other key responsibilities include:
Drive processes efficiency, identifying opportunities for simplification and standardization, as well as cost optimization, ensuring services continuous improvement
Ensure the statutory requirements, labor legislation application and compliance
Manage employee data, and ensure controls and compliance to manage any operational, financial and reputational risks, ensuring that is delivered consistent with service level agreements
Build a sustainable relationship with customers to ensure local satisfaction with service provided, working together with other People Solutions Teams globally, HR Centers of Expertise and HR Partners
Governance and decision making for the Brazilian People Solutions functional responsibilities
Lead People Solutions projects and the organizational change management aligned with the global strategy
What you can bring to the role:
Bachelor's degree in administration, economics, psychology or related field
Post graduation or MBA in Human Resources or People Management are a plus
Very solid experience in in general HR management roles within similar industry
Fluent English (non-negotiable)
Strong leadership skills
Proven customer relations skills across a diverse business organization
Demonstrated understanding of financial processes and concepts (payroll, cost efficiency, SLA, etc)
Flexible location in Poços de Caldas (MG) or São Paulo (SP).
