THE ROLE:

The Business Planning Manager will play a key role in running our revenue forecasting and business management processes for the Adaptive and Embedded Compute Group (AECG) business unit. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and aligning various revenue inputs and managing execution toward company goals.

 

THE PERSON:

The ideal candidate will possess a breadth of abilities and skills, including data analytics and visualization, strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and understanding of revenue and business management processes. You are data driven and have proven experience working well across multiple stakeholders to consolidate the various inputs and establish new processes to improve day-to-day of running the business. You are a self-starter, have high ownership of your deliverables, have a sense of urgency, and can highlight issues to leadership and take help proactively.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Revenue Forecasting:

  • Model sell-in revenue by analyzing inventory across various channels, inventory consumption / sell-through and weeks of inventory
  • Work closely with Customer Operations, Supply chain, Finance and BizOps teams to forecast revenue
  • Drive alignment of the sell-through and sell-in revenue forecasts
  • Monitor sell-in performance against forecasts and recommend adjustments as needed
  • Provide inputs and key insights to set and manage quarterly and annual channel inventory targets, working closely with Finance and Operations

Revenue Management:

  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to optimize inventory levels, schedules, and distribution strategies
  • Work with Customer Operations, Supply chain, and business management teams on delinquency analysis to improve forecasting, maximize revenue and customer order commits
  • Collaborate with several planning teams to ensure alignment of revenue forecasts, upsides and risks, and supply pre-builds
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to business planning and forecasting accuracy
  • Act as key SME and stakeholder for revenue reporting systems and analytics, driving business requirements to data, infrastructure, and analytics needs
  • Provide regular updates to management on the progress of initiatives and projects

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, coupled with solid communication, teamwork, and business acumen competencies
  • Related business planning ownership and experience. High-tech industry is preferred, and an understanding of semiconductor business is highly desirable
  • Proven experience in business planning, revenue forecasting, and supply chain coordination
  • Excellent skills in establishing relationships and working effectively across multiple functions with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent communications skills are critical to this role, with the ability to digest large amounts of information and present to executive management
  • Experience in process improvement and designing/developing business intelligence solutions is a plus  

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field required; MBA preferred
