THE ROLE:

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Instinct Datacenter GPU Business. This role is a key position within the GPU OEM/ODM Business Development team. The role will manage operations and data insights across the AMD AI product portfolio and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, providing the critical linkage between the Business, Product, Engineering, Finance and Supply Chain teams to enable OEM/ODM customers.

 

THE PERSON:

The ideal candidate for this role will be a self-directed, high-output individual with a background in operations, data analytics, semiconductor business planning and Server OEM customers. They'll navigate a fast-paced, constantly changing environment, adapting their communication style to various audiences at the working level and with executive leadership to make data-driven recommendations that have substantial technical, business, and financial impact. The person will possess the ability to build positive partnerships with executives and across teams to deliver insights, recommendations, innovations, action plans and centralized reports on a regular basis.

 

KEY RESPONSIBLITES:

  • Drive weekly Business Development forums including preparation of supporting material and meeting administration. Coordinate with the Business Development, Product Line Management, Operations and Engineering groups to ensure all salient topics are addressed.
  • Drive detailed analysis to create or improve cross-functional business processes across customer operations, business development, and product line teams.
  • Scope, build, and deliver business tools through a variety of analytic & process frameworks.
  • Prepare and present presentations in both business user terminology and technical terminology, adjusting dynamically based on the audience.
  • Deliver weekly KPI and reports to executive management that are coordinated across Business Development, Sales, Operations, Finance & Product Line functions.
  • Maintain recurrent, proactive stakeholder communication across various teams.
  • Partner with Business Development, Product Line Management and Finance to deliver Annual Operating Plan; track and report progress/variances throughout the year.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong problem solving, logical reasoning skills and analysis experience with solving business problems (commercial, financial, operational, organizational).
  • Direct experience in business process creation, management, or improvement projects
  • Intermediate to expert level skills in Excel and other Office 365 products, with experience telling a story by building sophisticated models using pivot tables and advanced functions.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, making order out of chaos and demonstrating enthusiasm for finding efficiencies.
  • Financial and Operational analytics background in Semiconductor or related technologies.
  • Exceptional people skills to convey concepts and recommendations.
  • Experience presenting to and communicating with executive level audiences; Ability to generate executive quality presentations.
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration skills; able to develop strong relationships with key partners in the Product Line, Operations, Finance and other functions.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects on a tight deadline.
  • Direct experience creating applications using Power BI, SQL, DAX, power query or other analytics platforms preferred.

 

 

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Degree in Engineering, Finance, Statistics or related field; MBA preferred.
