The Channel Marketing for Northern Europe is responsible for planning, activating, and monitoring AMD marketing activities with customers, OEM, and eco-system partners, predominantly within UK, and Nordic regions.

He/She will report into the EMEA Field Marketing Lead, and work in tandem with the regional Sales representatives as well as with the respective regional PR and Social teams.

 

THE PERSON:

The ideal candidate will hold an online and digital marketing background which includes data driven marketing and project management skills.

                                                                                                                              

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and maintain relationships with priority accounts
  • Serve as the marketing point person for defined key customers and eco-system partners across AMD's different business units.
  • Plan, execute and monitor marketing plans with customers and implement marketing campaigns with Channel customers in the component business as well as with Consumer & SMB retailers
  • Execute regional product launches and promotional activities in focus countries
  • Deliver regular analysis and reporting to internal teams and executives of campaign, communicate results and provide/implement improvement recommendations. 
  • Co-ordinate and drive AMD-led awareness and demand generation programs in coordination with the EMEA PR and social team
  • Develop schedules, track progress, and provide quality assurance and control of projects.
  • Produce debriefs on campaigns including delivering regular reports and ROI calculation.
  • Take a proactive and positive approach in seeking ways to improve all aspects of our marketing activities

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Ideal candidate will hold at least 2 year of relevant marketing work experience in the Semi-conductor, CE or IT industry (either corporate or agency background)
  • Outstanding communication skills with an excellent command of Polish and English, both written and verbal
  • Confident user of the Microsoft Office suite with a high level of proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Copywriting experience and/or experience in graphics design is a plus
  • Project management experience working directly with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders
  • Exceptional time management skills, interpersonal skills & keen eye for detail
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • The candidate will need to demonstrate drive, ambition and be self-motivated

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor degree or similar
