THE ROLE:
We are looking for candidates to expand the Regional Marketing OEM Operations Team. As a member of the team, you will be working in a global, fast changing environment. You will be responsible for supporting internal AMD teams and external OEM operations teams in all aspects of marketing funding operations – submitting marketing plans, initiating/reviewing purchase orders, analyzing proofs of execution, support invoicing and claiming, and reporting.
THE PERSON:
As a member of the Regional Marketing OEM Operations team, the candidate will be working in a global, fast-changing environment. The incumbent needs to exhibit the ability to move and adapt quickly to changing needs, lead multiple initiatives, and engage at all levels both inside AMD and with partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
PO Creation Process (AMD reservations)
- Review and approval of marketing plans in MPP for compliance and alignment to approved marketing plan.
- Complete system revisions.
- Submit reservation (PO) requests when required.
- Act as primary point of contact for all reservation issues, revisions and requests from internal and external partners including reservation and compliance team.
- Resolve reservation issues or requests directly with customers or by liaising with internal and external requestors.
- Communicate approved reservation IDs to internal and external teams.
Claiming Process
- Act as primary point of contact for all claiming issues and requests from AMD's worldwide Claiming and Compliance Team, internal and external requesters.
- Preview claims prior to submission to global ops.
- Review and identify missing KPI information.
- Help resolve claiming issues and requests directly or by liaising with customers and/or marketing teams.
- Provide dashboard on claim/invoice status including unclaimed reservations.
- Help ensure that claims are submitted prior to PO closure.
Tracking and Reporting
- Maintain consolidated overview of reservations and claims per region and segment, including pending reservation and claims issues.
- Monitor and report on reservation linearity during the quarter.
- Provide weekly payment reports.
- Expiring reservations reporting.
- Maintain consolidated overview of claims and/or maintain a repository of claims according to local regulations.
- Additional tracking and reporting as required or requested.
Training and Support
- Provide training to internal and external ops/sales/marketing team on AMD guidelines, Terms and Requirements.
- Provide first-level support on MPP issues; provide MPP system training to internal and external partners.
- Address day to day queries on compliance relating to contract agreements, terms and guidelines.
- Additional training and support as required or requested.
- Manage MPP role access requests.
- Attend operations calls, some calls may be outside standard business hours (evening).
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Great attention to detail and strong analytics skills
- Proven ability to work in a demanding, fast paced environment managing multiple programs at one time.
- Very strong PowerPoint, and Excel skills, experience working with MS Teams and other collaboration applications.
