THE ROLE:

The data center content manager will manage the development and execution of marketing content for major outbound marketing programs and initiatives for the data center business. You will be responsible for managing content development from inception to delivery to the regions – focused on driving thought leadership for AMD in AI and data center modernization in the enterprise. This role combines writing and editing with strategic program management, internal communication with stakeholders across AMD, program and resource management, and process excellence – helping the whole marketing team work together on our most important projects across multiple product brands.

 

THE PERSON:

You are a technology marketer with strong knowledge in a wide range of marketing communications channels and content development to orchestrate impactful outbound marketing. You are inquisitive and resourceful, see both the strategic big picture and execute against details, and enjoy identifying opportunities to improve and drive change to advance marketing at AMD.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead content development to ensure alignment with strategic goals, including writing and editing content as needed.
  • Drive content creation for AMD.com, managing reader journeys and incorporating SEO best practices. Identify and develop content to address gaps on specific AMD.com pages.
  • Collaborate with Business Units and ISV & Cloud partner marketing teams to ensure content aligns with broader strategic marketing objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing copy, including but not limited to social media posts, email marketing (EDM), SEM, and web content.
  • Manage marketing projects from concept through execution, ensuring timely delivery and effective measurement of outcomes.
  • Develop and prioritize strategies, timelines, and action plans, providing regular updates and proactively engaging with stakeholders.
  • Work cross-functionally with various teams, including regional marketing, PR/communications, web/digital, creative, production, and others.
  • Identify and leverage new opportunities to enhance performance based on data-driven insights and measurable results.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in outbound marketing, with a successful track record of executing multifaceted projects and developing impactful content.

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.

  • In-depth understanding of the AI ecosystem within enterprises and the role of data center solutions within this landscape.

  • Knowledge of data center trends and enterprise buying behavior, with the ability to craft compelling content that resonates with customers in these industries.

  • Highly motivated self-starter, able to thrive in complex, fast-paced, and milestone-driven environments, with a keen eye for detail.

  • Strong project management, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proactive with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams effectively.

  • Solid understanding of marketing strategies and tactics, including content marketing, paid media, product launches, geo-targeted campaigns, and lead generation.

  • Previous B2B technology marketing experience is preferred.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar
