The Person: 

We are seeking an accomplished Technical Fellow with background and expertise in x86 Architecture, advanced CPU core micro-architecture, high performance computing, and efficient/low-power design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Influence the ISA decisions and directions for AMD CPUs.
• Influence and contribute to Zen core microcode uArch and implementation
• Contribute to improved security architecture of AMD CPUs
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve Arch and uArch methodologies

Required Experience:

• Recognized technical expertise in CPU uArch
• Recognized technical expertise in Intel/AMD ISA
• Recognized technical expertise in Arm and competitive ISA
• Recognized technical expertise in the required uArch to deliver high performance, high efficiency CPU cores across ISA
• Demonstrated hands-on experience and delivery of highly complex CPUs
• Strong record of innovation, demonstrated by publications or patent portfolio
• Experience collaborating with large teams
• Communication skills and abilities to influence peers, business units, and management; in addition to mentoring junior engineers
