THE ROLE:

We're looking for a visionary technical leader to shape the future of AMD CPUs. This is a rare opportunity to influence cutting-edge microarchitecture and drive innovation in high-performance, low-power computing.

THE PERSON:

You are a recognized expert in CPU architecture with a proven track record of delivering complex designs. You thrive in collaborative environments, mentor others, and communicate with clarity and impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive the microarchitectural direction of future AMD CPUs.
• Influence and contribute to Zen core architecture and implementation.
• Innovate in arithmetic and vector design for performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate across teams to enhance architecture and microarchitecture methodologies.

 PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Deep expertise in CPU microarchitecture and Intel/AMD ISA.
• Strong understanding of Arm and competitive ISAs.
• Proven delivery of high-performance, high-efficiency CPU cores.
• Hands-on experience with complex CPU designs.
• Track record of innovation (publications, patents).
• Effective collaboration with large engineering teams.
• Strong communication and influence skills across technical and business domains.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.

 ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in related discipline preferred
