THE ROLE:
In this role as Sales Director of our Channel Component Sales organization in Asia Pacific Japan (APJ), you will serve as the key member of the APJ Channel Component team to lead our Client CPU business in the region.
This role will focus on “Sell In” to our key Distributors in the region as well as plan and manage “Sell Thru” to our channel partners across the region.
THE POSITION:
This position requires a solid understanding of Channel distribution business in the region, System Builder/System Integrator channels, deep knowledge of ecosystem business and the ability to develop meaningful relationship across multiple functions and levels with keen attention to details.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To manage AMD Client CPU business for the Channel Component business
- Managing distributors, channel partners, and ecosystem partners.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and achieve success.
- Supervise and analyze key performance metric, suggest improvements plan and driving Operational Excellence with the team in a matrix environment
- Conduct research, identify potential customers and new market opportunities
- Analyzing market trends and competitor's activities
- Plan and execute quarterly demand generation and Go To Market activities in the region
- Work with cross functional teams from Marketing/Operations, Finance, PR and Social Media
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- You must be comfortable working in a self-directed, matrixed environment and independently execute sales goals to drive market share gains for AMD.
