The Role:

We are searching for an experienced Executive Assistant who is highly organized and thrives in a fast-paced and constantly evolving business environment. In this role, you will partner with other executive assistants and various levels of executives across AMD as well as external partners, assisting our Senior Vice President in handling day-to-day priorities. The environment is fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative.

 

The Person:

The ideal candidate will have significant experience navigating a complex C-Suite environment and be comfortable interacting with employees of all levels. To be successful, you will need strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, a high level of confidentiality, and the ability to gather and analyze data making decisions independently. Being proactive and anticipating the needs of the executive is essential as you prioritize time, schedules, inquiries, and information.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the agenda for the extended staff meeting – ensure all topics are aligned with the team.
  • Participating in key executive meetings, taking action items, and following up.
  • Own the executive calendar; coordinate across C-suite execs, partners, and team members to drive effective collaboration for the executive.
  • Arrange executive's domestic and international travel schedule, reservations, etc. Ensure “on the road” time is productive and efficient.
  • Coordinate and drive to completion of Strategic Offsites and large group meetings.
  • Propose and follow through on ideas to improve organizational morale//employee welfare (events, giveaways, awards).
  • Own the executive's partner relationships and drive regular networking interaction between the executive and AMD partners.
  • Maintain inventory of departmental supplies and computing resources; coordinate necessary equipment or facilities repairs or changes.
  • Support the department's financial processes, including budgets, contracts, purchase orders, payments, vendor relations, etc.
  • Provide basic data analysis from Excel, PowerBI, and Static Reporting.
  • Create complex PowerPoint presentations for executive staff.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience supporting a corporate executive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to manage the complexities of global travel.
  • Extensive experience managing executive calendars, coordinating large-scale meetings, and maintaining accurate organizational charts.
  • Ability to use a variety of office automation tools and software (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Word, SharePoint, SAP, etc.); experience with AI tools a plus.
  • Ability to work with various levels of management and employees to exchange information and take appropriate action.
  • Must balance multiple tasks.
  • Must be able to anticipate the needs of the VP and not wait to be given instructions.
  • Must have good organizational and interpersonal skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

 

Academic Credentials:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent level of experience
