THE ROLE:

Develop SOC level design for world class dGPU product in AMD and make functional correct. Working with guideline and architect to define STA target, power strategy, etc. Setup front-end netlisting and quality check flow. The candidate will learn industry standard ASIC front-end flow, methodology, EDA tool, and so on

THE PERSON:

Good communication skills, proactive, strong internal motivation  and teamwork

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working with guideline and architect to define STA target, power strategy, etc.
• Develop SOC level design for dGPU product and make functional correct
• Complete front-end netlisting and quality check
• Check and drive issue solving and quality improvement, including RTL syntax check, LEC, CDC, Low power design and STA etc.
• Working with physical design team on floorplan, timing closure, power design validation, etc.
• Support ASIC bring-up.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Over 5 years IC industry work experience
• Strong knowledge of electronics and IC fundamentals;
• Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills;
• Familiar with EDA tools such as DC, FC, Formality, PT, CDC, Spyglass;
• Good communication skills, proactive and teamwork;
• Familiar with linux work environment and scripts such as csh, perl, tcl, python etc.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Master's degree with microelectronic and above is preferred
