Job Title: Full Stack Developer – Code Scanning & Open Source License Compliance

Location: Serbia (Belgrade or Nis)

THE ROLE

As a Full Stack Developer on AMD's Software Integrity Team, you will support the team with the implementation of scalable technical solutions to support code scanning and software license compliance across AMD's software ecosystem. You will work on the enhancement of internal automation pipelines and integrate scanning platforms using advanced tooling and orchestration. The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack capabilities, experience in REST API and understanding of software composition analysis (SCA) tooling or willpower to gain this knowledge from the team. You will also contribute to the adoption of AI to improve automation, classification, and detection.

THE PERSON

You are a technically driven engineer who takes ownership of delivering complex infrastructure, automation, and integration projects. You are adept at breaking down large-scale technical problems, design robust solutions, and working across systems with multiple programming languages and frameworks. You are highly organized, autonomous in execution, and thrive in team environments focused on engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, and deploy internal tools, features and scripts for existing code scanning and license compliance frameworks.
  • Drive the technical integration of third-party solutions into AMD's toolchain as needed.
  • Develop enhancements to scanning pipelines focusing on OSS license governance and IP protection.
  • Implement automation strategies to enhance existing workflows.
  • Provide technical support for platform-level services and end-user tooling.
  • Build and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and self-hosted runners.
  • Automate system tasks and integrations using Groovy, Python and Bash.
  • Develop and maintain web-based dashboards to visualize different metrics.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or full stack development roles.
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD best practices.
  • Strong scripting skills in Groovy, Python, and Bash.
  • Experience in backend development using C#/.NET.
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks (preferably React).
  • Ability to understand and refactor code across diverse languages and frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Scripting experience in Shell and Perl.
  • Understanding of AI/ML principles in classification and analysis and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Database management experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with SCA and code scanning tools such as Palamida (FlexNet Code Insight), Black Duck, or FOSSID is an asset.
  • Experience in enterprise-scale development environments.

Academic Credentials

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
