Job Role and Responsibility: AMD, Inc., is hiring HR Data Analyst to Conduct data analysis to support and provide insights for HR initiatives and synthesize trend data to support recommendations for action. Utilize employee survey results to guide managers in developing action plans to increase employee satisfaction scores for the next year. Develop and maintain HR dashboards to track key metrics, such as headcount, attrition, and diversity. Utilize data to enable proactive retention efforts and reduce turnover. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity in HR systems. Implement testing stages for compensation team during bonus and promotion cycles to increase accuracy in compensation data. Automate HR reports and implement data-driven solutions to improve process flows using Excel macros and data validation. Facilitate the creation of a cloud SharePoint site, to centrally housed documents for ad hoc analysis and aid collaboration for HR partners within the organization, improving accessibility to reusable knowledge assets. Apply theoretical and practical knowledge of Business Analytics to enhance the data-driven intelligence capabilities of AMD's human resource business intelligence processes. Qualifications: Degree required

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or related field.

Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: One (1) year of experience in the job offered or closely related data analyst role.

Specific skills required: The following skills are required:

Position requires experience in the following:

  • Python script development;
  • Data mining and data visualization;
  • Building interactive PowerBI dashboards;
  • Conducting statistical data analysis;
  • Analyzing data and building reports with Excel and Tableau; and
  • MS SQL server and SQL.

Experience may be gained through graduate-level coursework, research, or internship experience
