ML SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
THE ROLE:
We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our software development team for building and verifying ML based software. If the challenge of creating defect free software for machine learning excites you and you are passionate about improving training efficiency and enjoy innovating and coming up with new ideas, then this role is for you.
You will be part of a world class team focused on addressing the challenge of creating software.
THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate should have experience with C++, python, understanding of GPU/CPU communication and familiar with open-source code version control like Git.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enabling support for different data type in hipblaslt/tensilelite
- Creating test cases to validate functionality and performance.
- Monitor and maintain end-to-end ML test cases for compiler in production, troubleshooting issues where needed
- Contribute your changes to open source.
- Influence the direction of AMD AI platform.
- Cross teams collaborate with various groups and stakeholders.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of experience.
- Excellent python, C++ programming skills, including debugging, profiling, and perf analysis.
- Understanding of CPU/GPU communication with experience in HIP programming
- Experience with ML pipeline.
- CI/CD pipeline
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
