THE ROLE:

As part of this team, you will debug design, process, and test program related issues for next-generation AMD microprocessors. You will also develop custom SRAM test methodologies and drive yield learning on cutting edge fab technologies.  In doing this, you will build knowledge of both industry standard Memory BIST test solutions as well as custom AMD DFT infrastructure.  The engineer must ensure overall compatibility, compliance, and test coverage of microprocessors from product definition through product qualification and into high-volume manufacturing by developing product specific test and data analysis solutions. 

 

THE PERSON:

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and ability to build and leverage automation to achieve project milestones.  Good communication is also a must-have, as the position requires interfacing with team members from multiple disciplines.  Self-motivation is key to continuously improve and re-invent internal processes in the pursuit of next level performance and quality.

  

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Proven experience in SRAM/MBIST Test/DFT
  • Proven experience on ATE equipment (ex. Advantest 93k)
  • C/C++ or Java
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Ruby
  • Familiarity with general Computer Architecture concepts such as IPC and cache hierarchy
  • Familiarity with Linux or Unix Operating Systems/terminal/shell
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with geographically distributed product engineering and design teams

 

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • BS/MS EE or CompE or equivalent
