THE ROLE
AMD, Inc., is hiring Product Marketing Manager 2 to create support materials for Instinct product launches, data center GPU segment stakeholders, OEM, cloud partners and Sales teams. Person in this role will design and develop comprehensive messaging, positioning, GTM strategy, plan for data center GPU segment to drive growth and be the evangelist for AMD Instinct product line.
The ideal candidate will possess a breadth of abilities and skills, including: Data center GPU product knowledge, artificial intelligence & machine learning applications and solutions, strong marketing and presentation skills, customer relationship management, program management, content development to drive marketing strategies at OEM or Cloud partners. The candidate will need to be prepared to jump in, take the lead, and learn quickly. The candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively, be highly organized, and be results driven.
THE PERSON
The ideal candidate is skilled in strategic marketing planning, execution and operations, with an in-depth understanding of B2B enterprise product and partner marketing. Bringing strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, the role requires someone who can see paths to business growth and manage MDF projects to deliver business results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create messaging documents, devise sales support materials for data center GPU segment stakeholders, OEM, cloud partners and Sales teams, educate and help them deliver the message to customers and industry influencers, and be the evangelist for data center GPU products and technologies
- Design and develop comprehensive messaging, positioning and marketing plan and assets for data center GPU products, including unique product messaging and content showing thought leadership, compelling value proposition and differentiation
- Understand target buyer/user personas and develop targeted plans to drive growth
- Create effective GTM strategy and plan for data center GPU segment
- Develop sales tools and enablers that support buyer and customer journey (e.g. presentations training video content, product/solution guides, blogs, media briefings, trainings, etc.). Understand competitive environment to position our products and technologies to win
- Work with related cross-functional areas to help generate strong momentum ahead of new product launches
- Provide product and marketing training to direct and indirect sales teams as needed to communicate value proposition, competitive advantage, and winning approach
- Represent AMD in industry conferences and thought leadership activities. Build and sustain analyst conversations to help differentiate AMD products
- Track and report to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders on marketing plan results and successes
PREFERRED EXPERIENCED
- Prefer at least 3 years of work experience in the following:
- Overseeing the design, creation, management, and distribution of technical marketing collateral in support of the Product Marketing strategy
- Compose engaging audience-specific marketing content, including case studies, videos, solution briefs, web content, presentations, datasheets, whitepapers, and sales playbooks
- Execute the delivery of product messaging, marketing plans, sales content, and field event plans
- Conduct regular competitor analysis to understand competitor product features, positioning and messaging
- Measuring and reporting the ROI of product marketing tactics through regular monthly analysis
- Skilled at translating complex technical concepts into clear, accessible, and engaging content
- Strong relationship-building skills, with an ability to influence internal marketing, PR, social and partner marketing teams
- Excellent written, verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities
- Familiarity with diverse marketing channels, including PR, digital, paid, social media, content marketing, and events
- Creative thinker – able to approach tasks from a unique perspective and challenge conventional practices
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer or Electrical) or Business
- MBA or equivalent experience preferred

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position.
