PROJECT MANAGER – MANAGED SERVICES IMPLEMENTATION 

(12 – 18 month contract)

 

THE ROLE: 

You will drive global implementation of AMD's new Managed Services Program (MSP) for our contingent workforce, impacting how our contingent workforce is engaged, managed and monitored.  You will tailor the MSP framework to align with AMD's operational needs across diverse geographies and ensure compliance and operational alignment for each AMD location.  Your success will hinge on close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external service partners to ensure the program meets diverse global requirements and delivers measurable impact.

 

THE PERSON: 

You are a strong communicator who understands both high-level strategies and detailed tactical matters. Results oriented, you are resourceful and can work effectively to influence a variety of stakeholders. You demonstrate a strong knowledge of and execution of program management and have demonstrated experience working in a global / matrixed environment.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Oversee and manage end-to-end deployment of the new global MSP
  • Maintain global standards while adjusting MSP to align with unique operational needs of  diverse regional sites
  • Collaborate with third-party service provider to ensure consistent delivery standards across sites to improve scalability and reduce risk
  • Deliver results in an effective and timely manner, while continuously improving process and product 
  • Communicate effectively, in writing and in person, to deliver clear and concise project updates to internal stakeholders
  • Ensure stakeholders understand the value of the MSP and are equipped to support its success

 

REQUIRED SKILLS: 

  • Experience tailoring solutions to meet diverse regional needs while maintaining global program standards
  • Solid track record of working within timelines and ambitions schedules 
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with, and influence key stakeholders

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • Program management experience in dynamic and competitive industry
  • Demonstrated experience driving implementation of a global MSP

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline 
  • Program Management certification a plus
