THE ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced Sales Enablement professional to join AMD's Sales Organization to drive sales productivity and performance improvement. This role focuses on increasing seller skills & capabilities, the establishment & reinforcement of best practice sales behaviors, and the building of a coaching culture within the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) sales team.

 

This position will report to the Sr. Sales Coach on the AMD Sales Enablement Team and interact directly with Regional Sales Leaders.

  • Commercial Sales (B2B) professional within the technology industry combined with solid Program Management skills
  • Demonstrated executive communication skills and comfortable reporting up through the organization on all aspects of global sales' proficiency related to AMD's productivity and skills standards

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implementing strategic sales initiatives and sales enablement programs within the regional sales organization
  • Facilitating skills and process training and providing ongoing coaching for: sales tools productivity, Sales Play execution, Opportunity Management, MEDDICC, Account Planning, Sales Skills, and other strategic sales processes
  • Providing a 'closed loop' communication mechanism with front line managers, sellers, and the HQ-based enablement and sales tools teams
  • Driving ongoing sales productivity and skills improvement programs
  • Analyzing sales performance data to determine areas for improvement
  • Co-developing enablement programs in coordination with the HQ-based Enablement organization
  • Modifying enablement programs to meet region-specific requirements (as needed)
  • Working with regional sales leadership to identify and prioritize sales skills and knowledge development needs
  • Coordinating and leading regional sales training sessions (in-person and virtual delivery)
  • Coordinating and facilitating onboarding for new sellers

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in Sales, Sales Operations, and/or Sales Enablement in a commercial B2B environment
  • Deep user experience with sales technology (CRM/SFDC, sales tools/systems, etc.), common sales methodologies, sales play systems, and sales processes
  • Experience leveraging AI for increased productivity
  • Experience with the MEDDICC qualification framework is a plus
  • Experience analyzing and gaining insights from sales activity and performance metrics
  • Experience in conducting/facilitating opportunity coaching and account reviews
  • Experience developing training programs for sales audiences for both online and in-person delivery
  • Demonstration of training facilitation capabilities for global sales teams 
  • Demonstrated experience driving projects to completion on time and budget
  • High level of proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), and in data manipulation, analysis and presentation
