Sales Account Manager – Server, Workstation & Gaming - Northern Europe   The Role:

We are looking for our next Sales Account Manager to join our Component Sales team, reporting into the Northern Europe lead for AMD's Component Channel. This role is partner-facing and will own the business development of AMD partners across key verticals (Server, Workstation & Gaming). In this role you will drive business development with System Integrators, Etail/Retailers and VAR/VAD partners by promoting AMD technology and executing sales programs and managing executive relationships.

  • An established background and relationships with Server, Workstation & Gaming System Integrators and VARs.
  • Executive presentation skills to multiple partners: customers, technical specialists, and business leaders.
  • Willing to travel regularly to partner meetings in the UK, the Nordics and the Netherlands when necessary.
  • Proven success in comparable roles, developing strong Channel Partner relationships which have led to sales success.
  • Ability to self-motivate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence Executive contacts.
  • Outstanding organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English.
  • Results-oriented follow-up and closing skills.
  • Strong work ethic.
  Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for overall Server, Workstation & Gaming CPU & GPU share growth within Northern Europe.
  • Maintain productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets/quotas.
  • Develop account strategies and business planning, co-working with internal teams (Sales/FAE/Marketing and BU) to win business/product line/share etc.
  • Effectively lead the overall market and build a healthy ecosystem for AMD products.
  • Plan and execute quarterly demand generation activities in the region.
  • Educate clients on product information including roadmap, function, specifications, benchmarks, and developments in product design.
  • Navigate the competitive landscape, developing and executing on strategies to ensure market leadership.
  • Discover, build, grow and close incremental business opportunities within Northern Europe Component Channel.
  • Engage with and build relationships with AMD board partners to support integration business.
  • Collaborate with AMD Channel Marketing to develop AMD platform communications, enablement events and training that articulate the benefits of AMD powered solutions.
  • Ensure AMD has relevant focus within key local board partner sales, marketing and executive management.
  Preferred Experience:
  • Proven sales experience within a high-performance computing industry or segment experience including Server and Workstation.
  • Local Channel Partner experience highly desired.
  • Experience and knowledge of key account inner organisation to work with the influencers, blockers, and decision makers.
