THE ORGANIZATION:
The Physical AI and Vertical Software & Solutions (PAVS) organization is dedicated to accelerating the adoption of Physical AI across robotics, industrial, and automotive markets. PAVS delivers best-in-class vertical software and co-engineered solutions that shorten design cycles for lighthouse customers while improving solution quality and user experience.
THE ROLE:
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on the cutting edge of Physical AI solutions. You will contribute to AI architecture, design, performance optimization, and other technical aspects of AMD products. You are a strong technical contributor with experience in AI tools, frameworks, and models. You excel as part of a team where customer communication and team skills are highly valued.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Co-develop Physical AI solutions with customers, including prototyping, validation, and deployment of AMD products in customer environments.
- Support POCs, pilots, and solution rollouts by providing technical guidance, hands-on assistance, and demonstrations at industry events.
- Deliver technical consultation on system integration, deployment architectures, and performance tuning.
- Produce technical documentation and test reports, and deliver training to internal teams and customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solution quality and an exceptional user experience.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- At least 5 years' experience in embedded solutions, Edge AI, automotive or industrial solutions.
- Proven expertise in AI and real-time systems, and experience with heterogeneous compute architectures, with a strong focus on x86 CPUs, GPUs, and/or adaptive SoCs.
- Proficiency with Linux, Python, C++, AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), OpenCV, and real-time operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, Generative AI, and computer vision pipelines.
- Strong skills in system integration, workload partitioning, performance tuning, and problem diagnosis.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with customers and cross‑functional teams.
- Experience in co-development with customers is highly desirable.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
