THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly capable Manager / Senior Manager – Accounting & Audit to lead and scale our accounting function. This role requires a strong technical foundation in accounting and auditing, combined with strategic thinking, leadership maturity, and a growth mindset.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can elevate team performance, drive operational excellence, strengthen controls, and build scalable processes to support long-term organizational growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage the accounting and audit functions, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Oversee financial reporting, month-end and year-end closing processes, and statutory requirements.
• Strengthen internal controls and governance frameworks.
• Partner with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth audit execution.
• Identify gaps in current processes and implement sustainable process improvements.
• Develop scalable systems, workflows, and documentation to support business expansion.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support leadership decision-making.
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team; foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive long-term planning initiatives, including resource planning and capability building.
• Lead change management efforts to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the finance function.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• 8 years of relevant experience in accounting and auditing, with progressive leadership responsibility.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and audit principles.
• Proven experience managing and developing teams.
• Experience in identifying operational gaps and implementing process improvements.
• Demonstrated ability to scale teams and processes in a growing organization.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision making skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA or equivalent) preferred.
