THE ROLE: 

AMD Singapore is seeking a Senior Program Manager – Site Operations & Strategic Programs to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives that support site operations, strategic planning, and executive engagement. This senior role requires strong program governance, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive execution across a highly matrixed, global organization.

 

THE PERSON: 

The successful candidate will serve as a key integrator between site leadership, engineering, and enabling functions to ensure operational excellence and alignment with business priorities.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Program & Initiative Leadership

  • Manage multiple concurrent initiatives with competing priorities and dependencies.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to site leadership, supporting prioritization, planning, and execution across key initiatives.
  • Support leadership rhythm-of-business activities, including operating reviews, staff meetings, offsites, and planning cycles.
  • Synthesize inputs from multiple stakeholders into clear recommendations, decision briefs, and executive‑ready materials.
  • Track leadership commitments, key decisions, and action items to ensure follow‑through and closure.
  • Provide structured problem analysis and scenario support to enable timely, data‑informed decisions.
  • Serve as a neutral integrator across functions to surface issues early and align on paths forward.

 

Site Operations & Strategy Support

  • Support site‑level operational planning, capacity and space strategy, and long‑term site initiatives.
  • Coordinate inputs for leadership reviews, operating plans, and strategic planning cycles.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with operational excellence principles.
  • Establish clear governance, milestones, KPIs, risk management, and escalation mechanisms.

 

Executive & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Prepare high‑quality presentations, briefing materials, and executive updates.
  • Support leadership meetings, site visits, and executive forums with clear outcomes and follow‑through.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on program status, risks, and trade‑offs.

 

Cross‑Functional Coordination

  • Partner with Engineering, Facilities, HR, IT, Finance, Security, and Administrative teams.
  • Align global and local stakeholders to priorities, timelines, and execution plans.
  • Influence across functions to resolve conflicts and drive decision‑making.

 

Communication & Reporting

  • Deliver clear, concise communications tailored to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Maintain dashboards, trackers, and documentation to ensure transparency and accountability.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 10 to 15 years of experience in program management, operations, or strategic initiatives.
  • Proven experience managing large‑scale, cross‑functional programs.
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Experience in technology, semiconductor, or engineering‑driven environments.
  • Familiarity with operational excellence or continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Experience working in global, matrix organizations.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related discipline.
