THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic professional to join our APIJ team as Regional 4P Lead. This role is pivotal in ensuring strategic alignment and proactive planning with all our multinational corporations (MNCs) customers. To excel as the Regional 4P Lead, you'll need a blend of technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills. You will need to be able to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders, both from within AMD and with our MNCs.

 

THE PERSON:

  • Proven experience in growing and managing a portfolio of multiple product lines across multiple markets.
  • Demonstrated success in developing product-specific strategies to deliver accelerated growth.
  • Ability to build complex, data-led business cases to secure investment and support from WW stakeholders.
  • Strong communicator, comfortable presenting to different audiences across customers and business/partner executives.
  • Open communication style and presence to work effectively at multiple levels, from salespeople to senior management.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Through in-depth analysis of market data (IDC, GfK, AMD Sales Data), identify market gaps that provide incremental business opportunities.
  • Assist and guide the Sales/GAM (Global Account Managers) teams with the use of qualitative business health parameters such as market segment share, price point share, and Premium mix to target specific growth opportunities.
  • Partner with APIJ Business Operations team to design and develop automated reporting dashboards.
  • Collaborate closely with MNCs and the AMD GAMs to understand their needs and market dynamics to ensure aligned goals.
  • Work with GAMs to optimize product portfolios to meet market requirements and maximize business opportunities.
  • Platform and CPU lifecycle transition planning.
  • Continuously monitor the competitive landscape and collaborate with GAM/BU teams to ensure AMD remains competitively positioned (PFV analysis) .
  • Identify gaps in MNC product offerings and influence WW GAM Sell-In teams to secure new design wins to better address markets in APIJ.
  • Work with Marketing and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to specific markets, considering product positioning, target audience, and competitive analysis.
  • Partner with the APIJ Funding Manager to ensure regional MNC funding investments align to the overall 4P plan and provide exceptional ROI.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in management roles within the technology industry, with proven expertise in financial planning & management and sales transformation .
  • Experience within the IT Channel or IT MNC would be advantageous with respect to better understanding our GtM motions and partner mindsets.
  • Deep financial acumen.
  • Exceptional data analytics, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in driving operational efficiency and sales performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams; “stitching the seams” between different teams with a view to timely delivery of common goals & strategic imperatives.
  • High level of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Excel in data manipulation, analysis, and presentation. (Experience with Power BI advantageous).
  • Experience with extracting actionable data from SFDC and associated systems.
  • Experience engaging with MNCs.

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
