THE ROLE:
The Supply Chain Specialist will oversee and manage the logistics operations, ensuring efficient and effective supply chain management. This role involves coordinating with various departments to optimize the flow of goods and materials, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery to meet the company's operational needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and oversee 3PL, providing guidance and support.
- KPIs
- Day to day operation support including system transaction
- Handling escalation
- Coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and availability.
- Cycle Count, SAP vs INCA reconciliation
- 3PL billing validations
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Ensure compliance for local, import, export shipments
- Transportation arrangements
- Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in logistics management.
- Proficient in logistics software (SAP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Effective leadership and management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with supply chain management principles.
- Knowledge of import/export regulations and procedures.
- Office environment with occasional travel to warehouses and distribution centers.
- May require working outside regular business hours to meet deadlines.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
