Senior UX Design Engineer 

 

Key responsibilities

  • Design and deliver enterprise‑grade software experiences, including UX/UI, interaction design, data models, and end‑to‑end user flows.
  • Contribute to AI‑ and datacenter‑focused products, ensuring usability, consistency, and scalability across complex systems.
  • Collaborate with customers, product management, and stakeholders to gather requirements, validate designs, and incorporate feedback.
  • Work closely with software engineers, clearly communicating design intent and aligning solutions with technical constraints.
  • Translate complex technical capabilities into clear, usable, and user persona-driven experiences.
  • Help define and maintain design standards, patterns, and shared components across the Enterprise AI application suite.
  • Apply user research, system thinking, and data‑informed decision‑making to influence product direction.
  • Support the development of open‑source‑friendly, production‑grade AI enablement software for enterprise adoption.

Preferred experience

  • Experience designing enterprise or developer‑focused software, especially for technical users.
  • Familiarity with AI, ML, datacenter, or cloud‑native platforms.
  • Working knowledge of software development concepts (e.g., frontend frameworks, APIs, system architecture, deployment workflows).
  • Experience with open‑source software or open ecosystems.
  • Background in complex workflows, configuration‑heavy tools, or data‑intensive applications.
  • Experience applying design systems and scalable design practices across multiple products.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes, distributed systems, or MLOps workflows is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional, globally distributed organization.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, HCI, or equivalent professional experience.

Location preferences:

  • Ability to work from Finland or Sweden, with flexibility for occasional business travel within Europe.
