SILICON DESIGN ENGINEER 2

 

THE ROLE:

As a Silicon Design Engineer, you will work with design and verification experts to fully understand and verify a variety of features within the UTCL2 IP.

 

THE PERSON:

You have a passion for modern, complex processor architecture, digital design, and verification in general. You are a team player who has excellent communication skills. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are willing to learn and ready to take on problems. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate with RTL and DV engineers to understand various technical details of the design / DUT
  • Write tests, sequences, and testbench components in SystemVerilog and UVM along with formal to achieve verification of the design 
  • Responsible for verification quality metrics like pass rates, code coverage and functional coverage 
  • Work with engineers from different domains, teams to coordinate and deploy IP releases to/from Graphics, MMHUB, support the alignment of tool/flows requirements for critical milestones, and drive the improvement of overall flows and methodologies

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience or familiarity with HDLs such as Verilog, VHDL, and langauges like SystemVerilog, UVM, C/C++
  • Experience or familiarity with verification tools such as Verdi and process of waveform debugging
  • Experience or familiarity with UNIX, code repository management tools (Github, Perforce)
  • Good understanding of computer organization/architecture, cache management concepts
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Self-motivated and driven individual who can work independently as well as in a collaborative environment

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering
