THE ROLE: 

In this role, you will contribute to the development of an AI operator library targeting AMD GPUs. You will collaborate closely with compiler and system engineers to improve code generation quality and optimize C++ tile-based utilities, with a strong focus on I/O efficiency, SIMD instruction utilization, and overall kernel performance.

 

 

THE PERSON: 

We are seeking a passionate and skilled GPU AI Kernel Developer to join our team and help accelerate large-scale AI workloads on AMD GPUs. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in GPU programming, a strong understanding of performance optimization, and experience working with wrapper layers or domain-specific languages (DSLs).

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Design, implement, optimize, profile, and analyze GPU utilities on AMD platforms
  • Architect and refactor components of the AI operator library to improve scalability, maintainability, and performance

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

  •  
  • Strong C/C++ programming skills, including parallel programming and software design
  • Experience with debugging, performance analysis, and test design
  • Knowledge of GPU computing frameworks such as CUDA, HIP, or OpenCL 
  • Experience with low-level optimization techniques, including assembly programming and intrinsics (preferred)
  • Familiarity with deep learning systems, MLIR, or large language models (LLMs) (preferred)
  • Understanding of accelerator architectures such as GPUs, TPUs, DSPs, or other specialized hardware (preferred)

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
