THE ROLE:
The Business Analyst will be responsible for stewarding, analyzing, and improving enterprise data and related processes to support accurate reporting, informed decision‑making, and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems, perform analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and data quality issues, and support ongoing process and data improvement initiatives across the organization.
This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work across stakeholders to translate business needs into well‑defined data and process requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Act as a data steward for assigned data domains, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and proper governance across systems.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies; investigate root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor data quality metrics and proactively identify gaps or risks in data integrity.
- Support process and data improvement initiatives, including documentation of current‑state processes and identification of efficiency opportunities.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into clear data, reporting, or process needs.
- Support ongoing data maintenance, validation, and reconciliation activities across internal systems.
- Assist with ad‑hoc analysis, reporting, and special projects related to data and business operations.
- Document data definitions, assumptions, and business rules to support consistent usage and understanding.
- Bachelor's degree (or advanced degree) in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with data analysis, data quality, or data stewardship in a business environment.
- Experience working with enterprise systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, or data platforms).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Index/Match, Pivot Tables).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
LOCATION:
Austin, TX
Position will require domestic travel to customer locations.
