Job Role and Responsibility: AMD, Inc., is hiring Sr. Manager, Product Management to Plan, initiate, and manage projects and programs for semiconductor product development within assigned product lines. Define technical requirements, product strategy, and competitive outlook in the areas of RAS and security for AMD's Instinct GPU product families. Direct activities of engineering team members. Author internal technical guidance documents to inform product managers and influence product road maps, produce detailed customer collateral to foster deep technical engagement with key customers. Perform thorough competitive analysis on planned system feature sets and performance. Engage directly with leading Hyperscaler, CSP, OEM, and ODM clients to capture their requirements, understand their technology roadmap, and collaborate with them to ensure alignment between their future plans and AMD's product roadmap. Monitor progress to ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Synthesize external feedback, requirements, and industry updates into informative and compelling internal presentation material to change minds and assert influence across multi-disciplinary groups. Produce detailed customer collateral to foster deep technical engagement with key customers. Perform thorough competitive analysis on planned system feature sets and performance.

Qualifications: Degree required
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, I.T., Business Administration, Engineering (any), or related field.
Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: Four (4) years of experience on the job offered or closely related product engineer or technical product management role.
Alternate combination of education and experience: Employer will alternatively accept a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, I.T., Business Administration, Engineering (any), or related field and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or product engineer or technical product management role.
Specific skills required: The following skills are required:
Position requires four (4) years of experience in the following:
- Product development for datacenter and enterprise RAS and security products;
- Defining technical product requirements;
- Presenting products to potential customers;
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) server development;
- Performing data analysis using Tableau;
- Conducting market research to evaluate competitor product offerings;
- Python, C, C++, or Java;
- Embedded software development; and
- GPU and Server architecture.
