THE ROLE AMD is seeking an experience program manager to lead governance and oversight of an outsource testing service lab to orchestrate and elevate the quality, consistency, and competitiveness of the AMD GPU software ecosystem on Linux. This role ensures strategic alignment, operational excellence, and audit compliance for testing AMD GPU products in the OTS lab. THE PERSON The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong program governance and operational management experience. They excel in vendor management, audit compliance, and program oversight, ensuring quality and efficiency in large-scale outsourced testing environments. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills are critical for success. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Governance & Compliance
Lead governance of AMD's outsourced Linux GPU testing program, ensuring adherence to open-source workflows, AMD standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Audit & Quality Frameworks
Define and enforce audit frameworks for methodology, reproducibility, and data integrity to maintain high-quality testing outcomes.
  • Vendor Management
Oversee vendor relationships, including SLA enforcement, KPI tracking, and operational reporting to ensure accountability and performance.
  • Operational Leadership
Drive quarterly operational reviews, set strategic goals, and conduct year-end performance evaluations for the testing program.
  • Financial Oversight
Manage Opex and CapEx planning, budgeting, and cost tracking to optimize resource allocation and program efficiency.
  • Workforce Planning
Supervise vendor labor management, including staffing plans, capacity forecasting, and cost control measures.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with AMD engineering teams to aling OKRs. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • 10+ years in software quality, validation, or systems testing, with 5+ years in vendor or outsourced program leadership.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale outsourced programs and enforce governance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Linux graphics and compute ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Advanced certifications in Linux systems or program management are a plus.
