THE ROLE: 

Join the global quality returns team as a Program Manager to support a rapidly growing AI business.  The role will include program managing the bring up of new 3rd party Customer returns testing centers and bring up of new products and processes at existing Customer returns centers.  We are in search of an experienced program manager with strong organizational, communication, problem-solving and supplier management skills. Ability to plan and communicate effectively across functions and with suppliers to ensure successful deployments and ongoing operations.

 

THE PERSON: 

A self-motivated, creative problem solver with a data centric mindset and strengths in time-management, cross-functional leadership, and communication. A deep understanding of reverse supply chain processes including supplier management, inventory management, quality, supply planning and cost management.  Must be self-directed and able to work in complex and dynamic ecosystems.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Plan, communicate, and drive cross-functional teams to meet project plan milestones on new product returns support and new 3rd party site enablement.
  • Define SOW's and supplier requirements, to meet AMD's objectives.
  • Define, implement and monitor supplier KPIs.
  • Facilitate Customer returns steering committee meetings, including defining and running agenda, capturing & communicating notes, action items, and decisions.
  • Provide clear and timely communications on project status, ongoing operations, and issues to multiple stakeholders, including executives.
  • Proactively involve cross functional team members and stakeholders in planning, decision-making, and execution efforts.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • Proven Industry Program Management experience in returns processes at a hardware or electronics component manufacturer
  • Experience tracking project schedules and maintaining and presenting project dashboards.
  • Experience program managing cross functional teams made up of both technical and program management members.
  • Previous experience managing and/or onboarding 3rd party service providers.
  • Knowledge of a wide variety of enterprise systems and processes (SAP, Salesforce, RMA)
  • Experience working with teams across multiple geographic locations
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels of management and executives.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work effectively as a self-starter and as part of a team 

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

  • BS/BA or equivalent
  • PMP or related certifications preferred
