THE ROLE: 

AMD is seeking a Sr. Program Management Analyst who will drive the delivery of industry-leading software solutions across AMD products and their target markets. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of innovators and shape the future of technology.  You will interact with many engineers, architects, and executives to build comprehensive plans to ensure successful delivery of major innovations in future software and hardware designs 

 

THE PERSON: 

This dynamic role will require a balance of technical aptitude and organizational skills. You will be the main interface driving strategic technology across multiple engineering teams. The position requires a highly collaborative mindset, exceptional communication skills and ability to present to and engage with stakeholders and leaders at multiple levels. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Own the planning and delivery of different lab-centric projects, through coordination with engineering and other internal and external stakeholders 
  • Program manages cross-functional teams, influencing and supervising the overall ecosystem workflow, and forging positive relationships with various teams within and outside of AMD 
  • Track the program and provide regular updates on progress, risk and issues 
  • Strong documentation and communication skills will be called upon frequently, especially in delivering streamlined, clear, and concise information to cross-functional stakeholders 

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • Combination of strong technical background with interest in Program/Project Management 
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or other planning tools an asset. 
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence and Excel an asset
  • Experience with Inventory Control strategies & systems

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, supply chain, or program management.
  • PMP Certified a plus
