THE ROLE:

Be part of a high-performance team that manages projects, enhancements and can provide cross functional solutions for challenges arising from daily operation across the multiple sites in AMD. The team is part of AMD's supply chain, and we encompass support including, but not limited to customer operation, product line product control and global logistics. We work closely with AMD IT for system and process review and improvement.

  • Determine project and enhancement scope, conduct in-dept analysis of current and to be changes and work with cross functional teams on development and execution.
  • Be part of an extended team of the global logistic to ensure efficient operational support to meet the high-volume shipments across multiple sites.

 

THE PERSON:

The candidates should possess strong analytical project management skill, execute critical thinking, and take ownership in resolving issues reported. Able to embraces some level of ambiguity with new projects but drives towards structure & process development. Good time and resource management with semiconductor experience and the ability to form good relationships with external customers and internal groups of the supply chain. A proactive, outstanding teammate who focuses on teamwork, team building, and growing team success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create project and enhancement management plans
  • Collect and understand system/process capabilities and capacity
  • Compare current vs to be capacities and determine gaps
  • Drive resolution to gaps
  • Drive to implement and improve system/processes
  • Coordinate closely with AMD IT and key partners to determine alternative actions for unforeseen challenges
  • Coordinate closely with GL sites to understand their needs
  • Manage priority and expedition of project, enhancement, and operational issues

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Supply Chain planning experience (SCM)
  • Experience working in a semiconductor company or OSAT, with some level of understanding of logistical system processes
  • Experienced with SAP
  • Strong analytical experience
  • Planning system experience
  • Project Management

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelors' Degree in BA, Supply Chain Management preferred.
