Job Summary

Head of Modular Operations

Anord Mardix, a Flex company, are a global group that provides quality critical power solutions, manufactures switchgear and associated products for installation in mission-critical and live commercial buildings ranging from data centres to the international headquarters of some of the world's largest companies.

The Head of Modular Operations will be based in Blackburn, UK, reporting directly to the General Manager. The role will be responsible leading the full operation of the Modular Business Solutions.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide dynamic leadership and mentoring to the Modular Solutions Team, ensuring their ongoing development and high standards of performance;
  • Provide and manage innovative and strategic development of the technology and design of modular solutions;
  • Contribute to the development of the company's corporate strategy regarding the Modular Solutions section of the business;
  • Manage modular operations, including timescales and budgets. Take overall responsibility for managing technical aspects and coordination of Modular Projects, meeting changing needs, requirements, and interventions;
  • Responsible for the successful delivery of all modular projects from order to delivery to customer site
  • Ensure compliance with current regulations and product standards;
  • Enforce compliance with different countries' standards specifications, minimize risk, and ensure alliance with required timescales and cost restrictions;
  • Allocate and manage resources, including safe procedures, appropriate documentation and storage, maintenance of drawings, and establishing quality standards;
  • Oversee and maintain technical documentation of the overall equipment. Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, Quality, and Compliance guidelines;
  • Develop a continuous improvement culture. Provide expertise in developing new innovative products and improving the existing range;
  • Engage with clients and attend customer meetings;
  • 3rd party / contractor management.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • 7+ years of relevant electrical industry experience;
  • Senior people and operations management experience;
  • Strong understanding of all aspects of modular production processes;
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant engineering and business trends;
  • Experience with 3rd party / contractor management;
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills;
  • Ability to organise own workload and use initiative;
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
