Job Summary

Anord Mardix, a Flex company, are a global group that manufactures switchgear and associated products for installation in mission-critical and live commercial buildings ranging from data centres to the international headquarters of some of the world's largest companies.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Inventory Control Analyst located in Kendal, Castle Mills, England.

Reporting to the Global Head of Supply Chain, the Inventory Control Analyst role will be responsible for monitoring and analysing inventory levels, identifying trends, and making recommendations to optimize inventory management. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure inventory accuracy.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Own and manage the KPI's for all Inventory activities and continuously review overall performance.
  • Provide regular reporting to Management on Inventory value, Inventory turns and Inventory accuracy.
  • Work with Planning, Production and Warehousing to set WIP and stock targets.
  • Work with warehousing on calculating volumetric data and associated storage requirements.
  • Work closely with the Finance department to provide a variety of reports and information related to Inventory on Hand.
  • Implement and manage Inventory input/output models.
  • Manage the cycle counting programme ensuring adherence to policies.
  • Undertake monthly stock reconciliations.
  • Manage Excess and Obsolete inventory including compiling the monthly Stock Risk Assessment.
  • Manage the Credit Returns process.
  • In collaboration with the Global Master Data Project Lead, maintain master data.
  • Monitor zero stock levels and investigate any trends.
  • Oversight of inventory located in external third-party warehouses.
