Job Summary Job Description

Anord Mardix, a Flex company, are a global group that manufactures switchgear and associated products for installation in mission-critical and live commercial buildings ranging from data centres to the international headquarters of some of the world's largest companies.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Project Accountant located in Kendal, England.

Reporting to the Financial Controler, the Project Accountant role will be part of an excellent team, whose members are strong communicators, ambitious & innovative.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Management / Financial Reporting: Produce and analyse project accounts according to the monthly timetable; covering project profitability, cashflow and balance sheet.  Ensuring data integrity and maintaining comprehensive audit trails for both internal and external audits.
  • Collaborating with project managers and cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with organisational goals.
  • Customer Invoicing: Raise customer invoices accurately and promptly, in line with contract terms and conditions, and management information requirements.
  • Working as part of the team to implement system improvements.
  • Other: Support with audit queries, budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis.

  • The versatility to perform a number of different roles within a number of different and diverse ongoing projects, whilst ensuring that deadlines are met.

  • Capable of communicating complex financial information in a clear manner
  • Experience of problem-solving, and challenging existing processes and procedures together with the development and implementation of improved systems where appropriate
