Job Summary

Anord Mardix, a Flex company, are a global group that manufactures switchgear and associated products for installation in mission-critical and live commercial buildings ranging from data centres to the international headquarters of some of the world's largest companies.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Site Operations Manager for Bar products located in Hemel Hempstead, England.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Manage the day-to-day site operations of IBAR/Databar services
  • Manage all sub-contractors completing work on behalf of AnordMardix, ensuring they have the appropriate insurances, H&S systems, certification levels, training to comply with our internal / external and legal requirements. Sign Off Sub Contractor cost Tables and carry out Sub contractor cost reviews.
  • Monitor and report progress and performance of projects throughout EMEA.
  • Implement appropriate KPI's which demonstrate the performance of the business from a Profit & Loss, SHEQ, Customer Satisfaction, Workload Forecasting and Resource Loading perspective
  • Make yourself aware of and ensure compliance with all the Company's applicable management systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Driving the efficiency and effectiveness of site operations
  • Organise and complete lessons learnt reviews to ensure continual improvement is always in focus
  • Liaising with clients and senior management

Project Manager Support

  • Assist the PM in overseeing the deployment of IBAR/Databar projects in EMEA.
  • Review subcontractor performance/cost
  • Monitor and support installation and testing works undertaken by Databar/IBAR sub-contractors, ensuring method statements / RAMS and the company SHEQ policies and procedures are followed with assistance of the PM.

Develop and instigate improvements to Sub-Contractor processes.  May include, but not limited to:

  • Contractual arrangements (charter)
  • Subcontractor selection suitability
  • Training protocols/regimes
  • Documentation Control/Systems.
  • Assist with the developing of the install guide and engineer APP

Support Site Team

  • Lead QA/QC process for product and install issues
  • Assist Site Project Engineers when needed
  • Product assistance with guidance for site project managers

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and conscientious with a high standard of attention to detail.
  • should understand the complexities of AM bar products from both a manufacturing and installation viewpoint
  • Experience in busbar and operational procedures.
  • Experience with commercial procedures.
  • Experience with site H&S protocols.
  • HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or relevant experience
