- Job Details
- The Registered Nurse-Intensive Care Unit is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
- Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
- Contribute to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
- Collect patient's health data.
- Analyze assessment data in determining patient problems.
- Identify expected outcomes individualized to the patient.
- Develop a comprehensive plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcomes.
- Implement interventions identified in the plan of care.
- Evaluate patient's progress toward attainment of outcomes.
- Assist with the plan of care, evaluate, modify and coordinate care, and communicate well with other disciplines.
- Delegate task to unlicensed personnel in compliance with the Board of Nursing.
- Conduct discharge planning, assisting the patient/significant others to obtain knowledge about illness, injury prevention, and teaching.
- Maintain confidentiality with all information.
- Perform any and all other duties as assigned.

- Internal Requirement: I9 required for direct candidates.
- Attestation required for Sub candidates.
- Drivers License required for all travelers.
- *Can be a state issued identification card, but it must include the permanent address on the document (even if not used for the I9)

- AHA, ARC, or American Safety and Health Institute
- BLS required.

- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam required as applicable by profession, 80% score or Meet/Exceed the Angoff Score.
- Color Blind Exam required for all candidates (Relias online version is acceptable).
