**Job Title: Director of Celebrations**
**Job Description:**
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Director of Celebrations to join our dynamic team! In this pivotal role, you will be spearheading the planning and execution of all celebrations and events within our organization. As the Director of Celebrations, you will ensure that each event creates memorable experiences that align with our company's values and culture. The director of celebrations develops activity plans and coordinates opportunities for residents that promote a level of health, wellbeing, engagement and growth for Assisted Living.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop, coordinate, and implement a comprehensive schedule of events and celebrations throughout the year, ensuring innovative and engaging experiences.
-Plans appropriate programs for holidays and special events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver events that promote unity, motivation, and employee engagement.
- Manage and oversee budgets for all celebratory activities, ensuring cost-effective yet high-quality execution.
- Source and liaise with vendors, venues, and entertainment providers to deliver exceptional event experiences.
- Recruits and develops additional resources for services to the residents. Initiates correspondence including public relations communications with outside organizations, service groups and volunteers. Gathering feedback and conduct post-event evaluations to continuously improve the quality and impact of future events.
- Stay up-to-date with event trends to introduce creative and unique celebration ideas.
-Demonstrates competence in Federal, State and Local regulations assisted living as applicable; ensures compliance.
-Maintains a robust public relations program in support of the activities programming and community relations.
- Foster a team-oriented, positive, and inclusive culture through the organization of inclusive events that recognize and appreciate the efforts of all employees.
**Qualifications:**
- Associates degree in recreation, education, gerontology, social work, or related field preferred.
- Three-five years years of related experience
- Strong project management skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Creative thinker with an ability to generate new ideas and approaches for celebrated events.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
