### Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
#### Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or physician. This position is ideal for an individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and has a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
#### Key Responsibilities:
- Provide basic nursing care and support to patients in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and outpatient clinics.
- Assist RNs and physicians in the assessment and implementation of patient care plans.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols.
- Assist with daily living activities (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, medication usage, and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety in patient areas, including the preparation of equipment and supplies for procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care and ensure a supportive environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and continuing education to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
#### Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or willingness to obtain within the first month of employment.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.
#### Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift patients as required.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing may be required.
- Ability to perform manual dexterity skills and use medical equipment.
